The Deer Hunter features a young Christopher Walken and Robert De Niro. It's hard to recognize either one of them. It's a movie like this one that showcases why walken and De Niro became two of the greatest American actors of all time. It's gritty, it's gruesome and it's inaccurate. It's great to see an earlier movie touch upon PTSD but the movie is dated.

This move left feeling all kinds of ways, it was hard to shake off.

I never really knew of Val Killmer but since his passing I've seen some of his movies popping up. Red Heat really stuck out to me, and while Val Kilmer wasn't the star of this movie, it is a gem. I wonder why I never heard of this movie. Also, I have plumbers nipples.

Banned upon its original release in 1981, Andrzej Żuławski’s stunningly choreographed nightmare of a marriage unraveling is an experience unlike any other. Professional spy Mark returns to his West Berlin home to find his wife Anna insistent on a divorce. As Anna’s frenzied behavior becomes ever more alarming, Mark discovers a truth far more sinister than his wildest suspicions. With its pulsating score, visceral imagery, and some of the most haunting performances ever captured on screen, Possession is cinematic delirium at its most intoxicating.
