The whole free half of the show was a banger. Some of these games are designed to be addictive. Roblox has been compared to gambling addiction, these kids are going to be really messed up. That's not to say that counter-strike 1.6 was addictive to me as a child and that wasn't even intentional. Oh and Roblox is the modern version of a pedo chatroom like MSN, Yahoo, AOL messanger was back in 2002.

This game has been taking up my free time. Actually I need to get off this game, it's too good. This game has the game mechanics of Grand Theft Auto and The Witcher. Imagine a Western where you can steal and sell horse's, home invasions, snake oils, and an open immersive world. The best part of this game isn't the story, it's exploring a world full of surprises. While I was "exploring" some fellows barns, just making sure everything was ok, I find this peach of an image. Not my favorite part of the game but I wanted to traumatize you.

I've been a Steam fanboy since it's beta in 2002. It was more about counter-strike 1.6 than it was steam, but here we are. EA's Origin was so awful I hadn't really considered using another vendor. I found places like humble bundle to alluring but ultimatly my ADHD wouldn't allow me to remember their existence. I know im probably late to the game but you can use price comparison websites such as isthereanydeal. This is magic, and safer than using sites like g2a.

It's no secret that I love western themed genre's, well it kinda is, I usually don't tell anyone. Anyways, Red Dead Redemption 2 is 75% on steam. The sale Ends on 10/20/2025. I just completed part 1 of story the mode, it does have a decent story. I think ill follow this post up with some other western tags.

How can such an old game engine be so amazing. Sometimes the engine does feel poorly optimized. Sometimes it feels like they really pushed the game engine to its limits. It still ran amazingly good. What I am trying to say is, I just can't believe what was made from 90's game engine. I took a lot of screen shots and I have no idea where they went so here's couple screen shots that I took with my screen capture. This article links to the steam game, plenty more content there.

3D Realms, creators of Duke Nukem 3D, Prey, and Max Payne, are excited to team up with Voidpoint to bring back the legendary Build Engine, famously known for classic first-person shooters like Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, and Blood. Ion Fury is the real deal!

Every so often I like to revisit a 90's classic. It seems like Duke Nukem has been lost to time and it was so much fun to revisit Duke Nukem 3D. 3D was released in 1996, and so it's not really suited for modern hardware. I found a mod called EDuke32, the website site is linked to this article. EDuke32 not only supports modern graphics but also fixes numerous bugs and glitches. This mod makes an old game fun again, and I haven't even tried any additional scripts. That is, this mod supports scripting, I haven't investigated what that really means.

Special mention to Duke Nukem Time to Kill. The game that introduced myself to the Nukem world, but I have to say Time to Kill comes in second to 3D.

I was reliving Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn. I always like to mod Far Cry games, it's always an improvement over the vanilla base game. At https://fcmodding.com/ they provide both a Linux and Windows mod installer. Its very rare to find a native linux mod installer. If you know of any other linux modders for any game, let me know. If you haven't tried the scavenger mod or the resistance mod, your missing out. The coolest thing about the scavenger mod is that it can force a Direct X 11 game to use the Vulkan AP, sweet.

After beating the single player, campaign, the game will have just started.

I didn't even know that Killing Floor 3 was in the works. It doesn't feel that long ago when I was waiting for the release of the first Killing Floor. I'll wait for a sale but until then I hope proton gets some more updates. This game looks intense and might crash a bit on linux

Fallout: Bakers Field. Id like to see this on the switch but I don't think DOOM mods are going to make it to the console platforms.
