    In case you didn't know, Android allows you install apps outside of the google app store. Freetube as an example. Apple typically doesn't let you install anything outside of their app store which usually extorts the authors for money.

    I found a replacement for Reddit, it's called Lemmy. Lemmy.world is part of the Fediverse. I'm a bit late, but here it is for someone else to stumble upon. Lemmy.world is linked to this article.

    How can such an old game engine be so amazing. Sometimes the engine does feel poorly optimized. Sometimes it feels like they really pushed the game engine to its limits. It still ran amazingly good. What I am trying to say is, I just can't believe what was made from 90's game engine. I took a lot of screen shots and I have no idea where they went so here's couple screen shots that I took with my screen capture. This article links to the steam game, plenty more content there.

    For me the most interesting part of this was the explanation of the memes that were engraved the bullets from the Charlie Kirk shooter. "Hey fascist's catch this one" I originally thought this sounded pretty cool. Turns out this is full of irony. In the game Hell Divers you play the fascist and call the people you oppress fascists. The shooter is a right wing tool weirdo. Don't let them fool you

    Duke Nukem 3D Dancer3D

    Every so often I like to revisit a 90's classic. It seems like Duke Nukem has been lost to time and it was so much fun to revisit Duke Nukem 3D. 3D was released in 1996, and so it's not really suited for modern hardware. I found a mod called EDuke32, the website site is linked to this article. EDuke32 not only supports modern graphics but also fixes numerous bugs and glitches. This mod makes an old game fun again, and I haven't even tried any additional scripts. That is, this mod supports scripting, I haven't investigated what that really means.

    Special mention to Duke Nukem Time to Kill. The game that introduced myself to the Nukem world, but I have to say Time to Kill comes in second to 3D.
