Windows X-Lite and Phoenix LiteOS →
A while back I had an old notebook that really couldn't handle windows. Sometime I see these products in stores, 4GB of Ram and a dual core processor. The solution that I found is Windows-x-lite. More recently I wanted to play some windows games without having to install windows 11. I chose the windowsxlite Neon edition. I don't know anything about the people who create this beautiful thing. They could be malicious. They could be totally open and honest, I don't know, I do know that I really like the work that they have done. A light version windows, sometimes around 1GB in size is just beautiful. One my favorite features is the disabling of automatic updates, permanently. I do take some precautions such as not storing passwords, banking, or any other personally sensitive information. It's probably fine, probably.
